TrackerBARS

Track important time events like sessions, new releases, early closes, holidays and contract rollover. Identify time ranges by bar color (e.g., 2 or 3 sessions) or background color (e.g., “no trading zone”). Draw vertical lines at specific times to identify events like economic news releases. The vertical lines are time-based so draw precisely (without delay) on non-time-based charts, like tick & volume charts. Each time line has a built-in countdown timer to continuously alert to the impending event, plus can optionally play a sound file as a one minute warning. An information box summarizes the following information obtained from the NinjaTrader servers: 1) partial holidays (e.g., early closes), 2) full holidays, 3) whether the chart is using the current contract, 4) the number of days until next rollover, 5) session template and merge policy used. The toolbar menu provides mouse-click convenience to show/hide features. Unique to TrackerBARS, the smart features were combined to automatically identify and then set a time line alert for sessions with early closes.

ES traders know there is usually a counter-auction in the day session intended to shakeout the overnight traders. TrackerBARS is especially useful to differentiate the overnight and day timeframe trader groups.
